Privacy Policy

Effective September 21, 2026

Beam VPN is operated by Geware Mobile Limited. This Privacy Policy explains how Beam VPN (“Beam,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) processes information when you use the Beam VPN iOS application, our websites, and support services (collectively, the “Service”).

1. VPN traffic we do not log

Our VPN servers must process encrypted network traffic to provide the Service. We do not retain logs of:

We do not sell, use, or disclose VPN traffic for advertising, analytics, or any purpose unrelated to operating and securing the VPN Service.

2. Information processed by Beam

Information stored on your device

The app stores settings such as your selected location, route preference, language, privacy-policy acceptance, session duration, and traffic totals on your device or in the app’s private shared container. This information is not uploaded as browsing activity and is normally removed when you delete the app.

Service and website requests

When the app requests configuration or a server list, it sends limited technical parameters such as app version, platform/product identifier, test status, and approximate days since installation. Like most internet services, our web server necessarily receives your source IP address, request time, requested path, and basic connection information.

Website and API access logs are used for reliability, security, abuse prevention, and troubleshooting. They are rotated daily and ordinarily retained for no more than 14 days, unless a longer period is reasonably necessary to investigate abuse, protect the Service, or comply with law.

Connection diagnostics

The app may display connection status, latency, duration, and upload/download totals. These measurements support app functionality and troubleshooting. We do not use them to create a history of your browsing activity.

Purchases

Subscriptions are processed by Apple through StoreKit. Apple handles payment details. Beam receives limited transaction and entitlement information—such as product identifier, transaction status, and expiration status—to provide Premium features and restore purchases. Apple’s processing is governed by Apple’s privacy policy.

Advertising and consent

The free version may use Google Mobile Ads and Google’s consent tools. Depending on your region, consent choices, and Apple’s App Tracking Transparency permission, Google may process information such as device or advertising identifiers, IP address, ad interactions, diagnostics, and coarse location inferred from IP for advertising, fraud prevention, measurement, and service delivery.

Personalized advertising and cross-app tracking are not enabled without the required consent or permission. Premium users do not receive in-app advertising. Learn more in Google’s Privacy Policy.

Support communications

If you contact support, we process your email address, message, and any diagnostic information you choose to provide. Please do not send passwords, full payment-card details, or sensitive browsing information.

3. How we use information

We use the limited information described above to:

4. When information is shared

We do not sell personal information or VPN browsing traffic. Limited information may be processed by:

Service providers may process information only for the services they supply and under their own applicable privacy obligations.

5. Retention

6. Security and international processing

We use technical and organizational safeguards intended to protect information, including encrypted transport, access controls, and restricted service credentials. No system can guarantee absolute security.

Our infrastructure and service providers operate in multiple countries. Information may therefore be processed outside your country, subject to applicable safeguards and law.

7. Your choices and rights

You can disable tracking in iOS Settings, change advertising consent where the app makes that option available, manage subscriptions through your Apple Account, delete local app data by deleting the app, or contact us about access, correction, deletion, or other rights available in your jurisdiction.

Because Beam does not require an account and does not retain browsing-history logs, we may not be able to identify or produce data associated with a particular person without sufficient verification.

8. Children

The Service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us so we can investigate and delete it where appropriate.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the Service, law, or our providers change. We will post the updated policy here and revise the effective date. Material changes may also be communicated in the app.

10. Contact
