Terms of Service

Beam VPN is operated by Geware Mobile Limited. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Beam VPN iOS application, websites, and related services (collectively, the “Service”). By downloading, accessing, purchasing, or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. The Service
Beam VPN provides encrypted network connections through selected VPN servers. The app may offer automatic server selection, city-level location choices, multiple connection routes, local connection statistics, free features supported by advertising, and optional paid features.
No VPN can guarantee complete anonymity, uninterrupted availability, or access to every website or service. Connection speed and availability depend on your device, network, location, selected route, server capacity, and third-party services.
2. Eligibility and local law
You must be legally permitted to use a VPN and to accept these Terms. VPN use is restricted in some countries and networks. You are responsible for understanding and complying with laws, regulations, contracts, workplace policies, school policies, and network rules that apply to you.
3. Acceptable use
You may not use the Service to:
- violate applicable law or the rights of others;
- distribute malware, conduct phishing, send spam, or operate botnets;
- attack, scan, disrupt, or gain unauthorized access to systems or networks;
- engage in fraud, harassment, exploitation, or distribution of unlawful content;
- infringe intellectual-property rights;
- resell, sublicense, reverse engineer, or interfere with the Service except where law expressly permits;
- circumvent reasonable usage, security, or subscription controls; or
- consume resources in a way that materially harms other users or the Service.
We may restrict or suspend access when reasonably necessary to stop abuse, protect users or infrastructure, comply with law, or enforce these Terms.
4. Free features and advertising
Selected locations or features may be available without purchase. The free experience may display advertising and may have fewer locations or routes than Premium. Availability can change as we operate and improve the network.
5. Subscriptions and billing
Beam Premium is an optional auto-renewable subscription purchased through Apple’s App Store. The app displays the available billing period and localized price before you confirm a purchase.
- Payment is charged to your Apple Account when purchase is confirmed.
- Your subscription renews automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the current billing period ends.
- Apple may charge your account for renewal within 24 hours before the current period ends.
- You can manage or cancel subscriptions in your Apple Account subscription settings.
- If a free trial or introductory offer is available, its duration and conditions will be shown by Apple before purchase. No trial is promised unless it is shown at checkout.
- Refund requests are handled by Apple under Apple’s policies and applicable law.
Prices, taxes, currencies, and available plans may differ by region and may change for future billing periods with notice provided as required by Apple or law.
6. Service changes
We may add, remove, replace, or maintain servers, cities, routes, protocols, advertisements, and features. A location shown in marketing or a prior version may be temporarily unavailable or replaced. We may update the minimum supported operating-system version where reasonably necessary for security or compatibility.
7. Third-party services
The Service relies on third parties including Apple, hosting and network providers, and—within the free experience—Google advertising services. Their services and terms may also apply. Beam is not responsible for third-party websites, content, outages, or policies.
8. Ownership
The Service, brand, interface, software, and related materials are owned by Beam or its licensors and are protected by applicable law. Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, personal, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the app on Apple devices you own or control as permitted by Apple’s usage rules.
9. Suspension and termination
You may stop using the Service at any time. Deleting the app does not cancel an active App Store subscription. We may suspend or terminate access for material or repeated violations, fraud, security threats, legal requirements, or discontinuation of the Service.
10. Disclaimers
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service is provided “as is” and “as available.” We disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, uninterrupted operation, and error-free or anonymous access. Nothing in these Terms excludes rights that cannot legally be excluded.
11. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Beam and its suppliers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages; loss of data, profits, revenue, business, or goodwill; or damages arising from third-party services, network failures, or unlawful use of the Service.
Where liability cannot be excluded, our total liability for claims relating to the Service will not exceed the amount you paid for the Service during the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim, except where applicable law requires otherwise.
12. Apple-specific terms
These Terms are between you and Beam, not Apple. Apple is not responsible for the Service or support. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you. Your use of the app must comply with the App Store Terms of Service.
13. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. We will post the updated version here and revise the effective date. Continued use after an update takes effect means you accept the revised Terms, except where additional consent is required by law.
